'Ear Syringe' print for sale

my print of a rubber ear syringe is now for sale in my Folksy shop, and I'll also be selling it at the various upcoming markets/fairs.

a doctor gave me the rubber syringe and to use it at home. it worked! i was really struck by the beauty of the object, and so decided to create an artwork based on it.

it is a pencil and paint image, as a slight detour from my normal printwork. the media seemed to suit the subject better. the print is on 200g cyclus white card, A3 in size.

a few other new items to post up in the next few days...busy busy...

Ship ahoy!

hello again...yes, i've done another print. this time it is a copper-plate etching.

it is entitled 'Airfix Wasa' and is based on a 17th century Swedish galleon. I came across a really old Airfix model of it in a car-boot sale and felt inspired to turn it into a print!

more info on the actual vessel is here, if you are interested.

the print is an edition of 50, and is for sale in my folksy shop.

the image is of some stargazer lilies. i'm not normally one for flowers, but was somewhat drawn to them due to their shapes and angles.
